National financial advice firm Lighthouse has renewed its contract with another trade union.
A week after British Airways Clubs, the company has now renewed its contract to provide financial advice to the members of the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers' Union (BFAWU) for another three years.
Malcolm Streatfield, chief executive of Lighthouse, said: "The board is very pleased that we have secured this contract renewal with the BFAWU, which provides further endorsement of the quality of service and financial planning support which Lighthouse Financial Advice provides to all participating members of our affinity group partners.
"We very much look forward to progressing further our relationship with BFAWU over the years ahead. The board remains committed to developing further our affinity partnerships throughout the UK."
The BFAWU is the only independent trade union operating in the food industry and has been representing workers in the food industry and allied trades since 1847. It currently represents around 17,000 members.
Lighthouse already has contracts with a number of employee organisations, including British Airways Clubs, the Royal College of Nursing, Unison, the Fire Brigades Union and Prospect.
Ronnie Draper, general secretary of the BFAWU, said: "We are delighted to have secured this contract renewal with Lighthouse, which will enable us to continue to ensure that our members are able to access financial planning assistance from a reliable and well reputed organisation, on a truly national basis.
