Administrator SeaBridge Sass has hired a brace of experts from WBR Group, following what SeaBridge has said were "record levels" of new business in the first six months of 2023.
Between them, Michelle Brennan and Abi Hall as senior Ssas account managers bring over 40 years of financial services experience.
Brennan was a senior Ssas account manager at WBR Group; prior to this she was a senior IFA administrator at Rowley Turton.
Hall was also a senior Ssas account manager at WBR Group; before this she was an administrator at GHC Wealth Management.
Nathan Bridgeman, director of SeaBridge Ssas, said the firm was investing heavily in securing the best Ssas professionals in the UK.
He added: “Our growing number of adviser supporters are increasingly looking to us as a safe pair of hands for their clients and Michelle and Abi fit not only this but our shared culture and commitment to providing the very best service and outcomes for our advisers and their clients.”
In the first six months of 2023, Ssas new scheme establishments were up 18 per cent on the same period last year, and Ssas takeovers were up 43 per cent, SeaBridge explained.
In 2022, as reported by FTAdviser, Seabridge reported record levels of loanbacks amid the cost of living crisis.
Brennan showed enthusiasm to join a business that has the “most advanced SsasS back office system in Primus”.
She added: “The all-inclusive single fixed-fee model, combined with no administrator looking after more than 50 schemes, is a winning combination that makes SeaBridge the right fit for me.
“Great customer service doesn’t happen by accident and I am delighted to have found a company who share the same ethos as me in providing a service where we support our clients, help solve problems and identify ongoing opportunities for advisers”.
Hall added: “For me SeaBridge Ssas has a great culture, and I share its passion and dedication for delivering the best personalised service, therefore, I am excited to have joined the team to continue this committed focus.
“The combination of these things along with the carefully managed growth from the outset and their advanced digital technology will allow me to help SeaBridge SSAS become the best administrator of service and outcomes for advisers and their clients.”
SeaBridge has recently moved to larger offices and is now on a recruitment drive to hire Ssas administrators.
Bridgeman said: “Advisers have been voting with their feet and moving their schemes to us to flee poor administration and service from the Ssas consolidators and legacy books.
"Therefore, we are recruiting the best Ssas experts to support our growth, and helping to onboard them and maintain the highest levels of service delivery in the profession.”
